Pontal do Sul is the coastal district that serves as the mainland base of the Ilha do Mel Nativo project. Located at the main gateway to Ilha do Mel, it is a strategic point for biodiversity observation, native stingless bee conservation, and environmental education along the Paraná coast.
The region brings together characteristic coastal Atlantic Forest ecosystems, areas of significant environmental importance, and communities with a close relationship to the territory. Within this context, the project develops and supports initiatives focused on sustainability, citizen science, and the appreciation and conservation of local biodiversity.
