Environmental Initiative

Ilha do Mel Nativo is an environmental initiative based in Pontal do Sul and connected to the coastal ecosystem of Ilha do Mel. The project promotes conservation, responsible interaction with nature and long-term protection of native species, including Brazil’s stingless bees. Its mission is to strengthen local biodiversity awareness, support sustainable community engagement and highlight the ecological importance of this Atlantic Forest region.
